Plug-in replacement for original NVRAM chip in Atari Falcon030 computer. Designed to be compact, fully compatible with original bulky Dallas DS12887(A) chip. Additionally, it features conveniently placed 2p pinheader allowing you to easily reset NVRAM contents, if needed. Backed by a replaceble CR1220 coin cell battery (not included).

Description

Module jumper settings:

OPEN – normal operation
CLOSED – resets NVRAM contents

Follow these simple steps to erase your NVRAM contents. First, switch off your computer. Wait about 5 secs to let all capacitors fully discharge. Close the module jumper for few seconds, then set it to open position again. Switch on your computer. All your NVRAM configuration is now erased and  will have to be set again.

    Mine well arrived in North Africa thanks. I need to know the direction of the chip. Is the battery on the right side of the PCB, or on the left side of the PCB. A picture would be very useful. Thanks
