Rear panel IO shield for Amiga 1200(HD)
18.00€ – 19.00€
Drop-in replacement EMI shield and IO bracket for Amiga 1200. Available for mainboard with original TV modulator in place, with VGA connector cut-out for reAmiga/scandoubler enabled builds and as blank version.
New from 11/2022: Satin matte surface finish, clean of even smallest burn marks from laser cutting process
Description
This is direct replacement for original aging and rusty tin-foil bottom Amiga 1200(HD) EMI shielding. Compact, lightweight, but extremely sturdy and rock solid. Provides maximum support for all d-sub rear connectors and greatly reduces risk of them being ripped off the mainboard.
Made of 0.8mm thick 1.4301 stainless steel, satin matte finish. Bottom part covered with polyamide insulation.
Note: While this product has been fully qualified with rev. B, C and E chassis and it is fully compliant with these, there could be some other revisions out in the wild, which I have been unable to test/qualify this shield with. It should however fit w/o modifications.

0,8mm

I was expecting a piece of metal similar to the original shielding as in thickness, this is much thicker and sturdier blown away by the quality I am certainly confident now about stressing the sockets when I am plugging and unplugging in my cables. Highly recommend.

My rear panel arrived today, I screwed it directly to my Rev1.4d mainboard and installed it in an A1200net case. What can I say, it fits like a glove and the stability is awesome. Top product!
