wich one LED module is compatibile with new A1200net cases?
Greetings from Poland
the “BC” version will fit for sure, as lightpipes are slightly more narrow then those for E chassis. They are 14.8mm wide, to be precise. If however new 1200 cases have been based on more recent “E” mold, you could also fit 1mm wider “E” version, which would result in more appealing look, especially if you are lucky owner of clear A1200 case.
Please measure width of LED cutouts. If you get 16mm, go for the “E” version.
version for 1D1 mainboard will be available?
Not planned for the moment 🙁
Is it supporting USB Joystick ?
not yet, sorry.
Does this support the mouse wheel?
It does not, sorry.
1. Update the download section with the Falcon version’s manual – now it mentions black and white cables while the Falcon PSU has blue and brown ones.
2. Add an header for existing Falcon PSU connection – there’s a nice connector, I feel bad destroying it only to connect it again into a very similar one.
Will you have some new TOS stock soon ? I am interested in the US 2.06 version.
Your wish has been granted, they have just been restocked 😉
Many thanks !
Superb! Exactly what I wanted since years! Finally a Gotek – like reader that uses the floppy button for USB access and properly designed for Amiga! Which models is it going to be for? I hope for A600, A1200 and A1000… eventually A500 but I have only 1 machine… I have more than 5 of each others).
You need to offer international sales and shipping. Please, please, pretty please. We are starved for a product/service like this down in Australia.
Hi, I bought your product st2vga. Works fine for high res on vga display, but low res not supported. What solution ?
Hello Sylvain, color modes (a.k.a low and medium res.) require 15kHz HSYNC capable monitor, such as Benq BL720A. This is a design limitation of your Atari video output, not ST2VGA.
You can also check sites like http://15khz.wikidot.com or http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=32243
When can i buy one from these again?
In about two weeks time frame. Please keep checking the shop regularly.
Where will these be back in stock?
In about 3-4 weeks.
New A1200 cases by A1200NET have 16mm wide LEDs cutouts.
So “E” version it is.
Any update regarding the progress?
Which revision of these will work on the kickstarter cases?
This is the one you should get, A1200.net case is made of “E” rev. molds.
Hi! Do you know when these will be back in stock and ready for dispatch?
Hello Chris, most of current back-orders should be dispatched during next week, new batch is expected a week or two after.
Ah, cool – not too long then!
Hi! Does this have proper solder cups at the back, or is it just straight pins?
All the eBay ones I’ve found are really tough to solder because they’re just pins st the back without solder cups!
They are straight pin version. Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate solder cup version, which indeed is more convenient to work with, anywhere. I do not think they are available any longer.
Ah, thanks for the info!
I just bought an ST2VGA instead!
Hi! Just received my STVGA – thank you!
Are the three pads next to the switch the audio output? If so, do you recommend a particular jack for use to provide the mono output?
When Will it be in Stock
When will you have the USB mouse module for Amiga 1200 (mainboard rev. 2B) back in stock
Best estimation I can give now is end of Q1/2019
Hi,do you have a stock?
No, sorry. It will eventually be restocked end on Q1/19.
Mine well arrived in North Africa thanks. I need to know the direction of the chip. Is the battery on the right side of the PCB, or on the left side of the PCB. A picture would be very useful. Thanks
Hello, check the product gallery, there is a picture of module seated on Falcon mainboard.
Any chances to ship ste or mega1 to US?
I will check that option for you.
Are there other LED color options beyond the ones mentioned (green, yellow, orange, red, blue, cold white)?
Yes, too many to list 🙂 What is your idea?
I know there are cyan/turquoise and purple/violet LED’s so perhaps these colors in combination with blue or cold white.
yes, that would be no problem. I have actually made a very similar color combo for another customer.
Hi, I am enquiring as to when you may have this item back in stock ?.
I happy to inform you the USB modules will return to shop early next week. Another good news is it has undergone a design overhaul and its now more robust then ever.
Hello, I would like to buy one ST2VGA White edition PROMO. Please inform me how I can proceed.
Payment via PayPAL possible? would be the easiest way. Shipment to Germany possible?
Please inform me about the total amount (incl. p&p). Thank You! Regards Frieler
Hello Jan, few pieces will appear as PROMO in about two weeks. For now, however, they are sold out.
Hi, doch you Plan to building another ones?
Ich really need one from These nice Hardware.
Sorry for my Bad englisch
Yes, in about two weeks time frame. Please keep checking the shop regularly.
Hello administrator, please can contact me directly ?
I left my email into the form… 😉
btw… is it aloso working in a MEGA1 ?
Hello Jan, unfortunatelly, there is no email in my inbox I could reply to directly. Could you please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org ?
As regards to compatibility, yest ST2VGA is compatible with MegaST line too.
just wondering when you are going to have the st2vga back in stock?
In about two weeks.
Best regards, Pavel
Hi, is the cd32 power supply in stock?
Yes, it is now.
I have a rev 1D.4 motherboard. Will it not work?
Apart from dimensional difference 1D4 mainboard has different connector, ergo USB module for 2B will not work with 1D4 mainboard without major modification.
USB module for 1D4 mainboard is beeing redesigned now and should be available (again) in about 4-5 weeks.
Any information about the availability for 1D4 version?
I have two questions regarding the power supplies.
1. The Falcon version of the PSU, will be okay with CT60 Falcon upgrade?
2. You don’t happen to supply a PSU for the Atari Mega STe do you?
Thanks in advance and kind regards,
sorry, but its “no” to both your questions.
Best regards, Pavel
This sounds really interesting!
It’s been a while since it said “Coming soon” -when will it be available?
Hello, launch is planned for end of August.
when will be “Falcon030 VGA adapter” available again please ?
I am afraid it will not be produced any time soon, if ever.
do i simply have to change the two eproms to upgrade to tos 2 or will there be some hardware hacking to do ?
Hi, could you please tell me if and when these will be available again? Thanks!
would love to have some sort of notification when they are back in stock again 🙂
There you are, back on stock 😉
Is A500 version planned? Or is this one possible to mount in A500 after some homebrew modifications?
How can I purchase the centuriontech display module?
They will appear in the shop in a day or two, sorry for delays.
Still can’t see it?
I saw no designated place for a review. So I will leave it here.
I received the STPSU and it was very well packaged. I just finished installing it. It was very simple to work with and works perfectly. My original power supply died around 9 years ago. You have no idea how happy it makes me to see my STE boot up again!
Thank you Centuriontech. I will certainly order from you again.
Thank you Robert for your kind words. They mean a lot, really.
Atari ST power supply says it is back ordered. How long does it take have one made then shipped?
Currently, about a week.
How does the Atari ST power supply connect to a USA power cord?
Please refer to User and installation guide, available in Download area
Hello dear, any news regarding the availability of this new device ?
It looks very interesting but we’re now already in October and if I’m not wrong still not possible to order it right ?
Thank you very much for your reply.
LED boards are hardly unique. Loads of people make them
Will this version fit the ReAmiga 1200, with it’s built in VGA connector?
Yes, it does.
I read “in stock (can be backordered)”. What does that mean exactly?
That means it is currently in stock. And eventually, when the stock is depleted, you can backorder one.
I need two.
I need one as well. I have been waiting for a restock so I can give these guys some money!
It’s been 4 weeks since the statement above, so hopefully it will restock soon.
Atari side connector is still in transit. As soon as its in house, I will make a batch of these. Please staz tuned.
Hello, I’d be interested in one of these when you have them in stock.
Will you mail us, if you have one?
Its back on stock now.
when are these available for shipping?
Hello, next batch will most likely be available just before Christmas.
Another voice here for the 1d4 version 😀
Its happening guys, they should return to stock in a week of Nov.18
And it is back on stock!
I is possible to have one with scandoubler? Thanks
Unfortunatelly, I do not have one on the menu. Please take a look at solutions like OSSC or GBS8200.
Does this also fit an Amiga 600? If not then how much do i have to modify for it to fit?
In fact it does, with already available redesigned bracket, which makes GOEX universal for both A600 and A1200. This is yet to be announced.
I have ordered 6 of those, backordered. Do you have an clue as to when they will be available ?
Please make some for A500 too!
today received my device and I am very happy with that. Works fine and the assembling of the pcb is very good quality. Thanks a lot for this pritty Amiga product !! My 32GB CF was detect directly without any problem.
Thank you 🙂
Just got the 6 pieces today. Congratulations for the nice packaging & good electronics work 🙂
How thick is this metal ?
How does one update the flash floppy firmware once Keir releases a new version?
Follow https://github.com/keirf/FlashFloppy/wiki/Firmware-Update , just replace “USB stick” phrase with “SD card”.
Hi, I have two. I am not satisfied with both. If I switch I mostly do not get white on my TFT. I have to figure out what position is correct and it’s not the 100% left or right, it’ somewhere in between. Sometimes it flickers between white and light cyan. I think the switch is not optimal for that purpose.
Hello, I am sorry to hear you are getting messed up picture on your display. Please note that _no_ Atari ST(xxx) produces VGA compliant signal, some displays are simply not capable to handle it. In fact, while most (but still not all) recent displays can handle ST’s HIGH resolution just fine, very few can display LOW/MED properly. This is clearly stated in product description. If I may suggest, BENQ 720A is well known to handle both perfectly, get one if you can.
How do I connect to the goex drive ? I didn’t find a display connection manual.
Hi, I don’t like the LED Display, the colors are not natural. My 51vm and 71vm do all resolutions just fine. I did connect the old VGA-Adapter again. The Hires is not so sharp as with the ST2VGA but Lowres is more blurry and in that case better, because I mostly don’t have those moving lines on my display. But that is not the Problem with those adapters. The switch does not work right in my opinion. Perhaps I should make a video about that.
Can you make a version that can do both df0 and df1 drive in one.. The internal A1200 and A600 already have extra select wire for df1 in the cable, maybe you can contact for this the people of flash floppy firmware? Alot of games use multible disks, some of them you get crasy of swapping the floppies all the time, whould be cool to have a goex drive that can do both.
I will have a look at it, thanks for the hint!
The cable for this has dupont connectors on one end in the picture, and when you look at the board it seems to require them there too.
But dupont connectors won’t fit through the slots in the top of an Amiga case, does this therefore require case modification? If not how are the cables managed?
Flat cable is directly soldered to OLED, while the other side of flat cable is, as you say, crimped with bare metal dupont connectors. Without plastic sleeve on, dupont connectors can be simply pushed through vent slot. After that, plastic sleeves are to be installed over metal contact.
That’s great, makes sense, so just a case of carefully encouraging the metal pins through the gap in the case and snapping on the dupont housing once through.
The wires on this look plenty long enough too.
